Check your rights before you start
Publicly viewable does not mean free to copy. Use HSK Download only for material you own, material whose creator has given you permission to save, or material the source platform expressly allows you to download. If you plan to edit, redistribute or use a file commercially, make sure the permission covers that purpose, territory and duration.
Copy the complete public link
Open the video on YouTube and copy its full public URL. Private, deleted, age-gated or region-restricted videos may not be available for analysis. Short links usually work, but the complete address from the browser is the best fallback when a link cannot be recognised.
Analyse what the source actually provides
Open the HSK Download page, paste the link and start analysis. The result shows only the video qualities, audio, subtitles and cover assets currently supplied by the source. Availability differs from one video to another, so a 1080p, 2K or 4K option appears only when that source provides it.
Subtitles and covers can be saved separately after sign-in. MP3 and common 360p–720p resources use download credits. Resolutions of 1080p and above require an active VIP plan and still use credits. Review the format, expected credit use and delivery option before creating the task.
Save and play the completed file
When the task finishes, save the file promptly from the task centre because delivery links can expire. Some high-resolution originals use VP9 or AV1 codecs that are not supported by every built-in player. VLC, PotPlayer or Infuse can usually play them; choose a compatible MP4 option when one is offered and broad device compatibility matters.
Troubleshoot without creating duplicate work
If analysis fails, confirm that the video is still public, the URL is complete and the source service is available. A task that fails before completion does not consume the final credit charge. If the browser blocks the file, allow downloads for this site and try once more instead of submitting many identical tasks.
Use the result responsibly
HSK Download provides technical processing for public links; it does not grant rights or permission to third-party content. Keep evidence of the permission you rely on and follow the source platform rules, the creator's rights and the laws that apply where you use the file.
